What is NOVACURE?
NOVACURE is a thermosetting acrylic resin that can be used to stabilise wood and open-pored materials in a transparent or coloured way for further processing.
After stabilisation, these workpieces can be excellently machined with common woodworking tools, similar to hardwoods.

Attention: For the use of NOVACURE you need a vacuum chamber, a vacuum pump and a suitable oven!
These are not included in the scope of delivery.

Advantages:
- Wood stabilised with NOVACURE is dimensionally and surface stable and absorbs virtually no moisture.
- It can be processed, glued, painted or treated with finishing products like hardwood.
- NOVACURE stabilised wood is not sensitive to heat and does not smear even at high temperatures, such as those generated during sanding.
- NOVACURE stabilising resin has a low odour and the stabilised material is almost odourless after curing.
- NOVACURE can be coloured with the corresponding colour concentrates available separately.
- Unused resin can be reused.

Scope of delivery:
Supplied in 1kg plastic container with screw cap.
Hardener solution is supplied separately in a small plastic bottle. ATTENTION: the resin must be activated before first use!

The wooden blocks are not included in the delivery.

With the delivery you will receive instructions for stabilisation with NOVACURE.

Storage:
Store NOVACURE in a dark and cool place at max. 15 - 20° Celsius to prevent unwanted hardening. Activated, opened containers should be used up quickly. The minimum shelf life after activation is guaranteed by the manufacturer for 6 months when stored at 15° Celsius.

Occupational safety:
- Novacure should only be used in well ventilated areas.
- Wear chemical-resistant nitrile disposable gloves.
- Wear protective goggles.
- Wear work clothes.
- Do not decant containers.
- The emptied container and resin residues can be disposed of with household residual waste.

Contains: 2 - hydroxyethyl methacrylate, 1,6 - hexanediol diacrylate.

IF IN EYES: Rinse cautiously with water for several minutes. Remove any contact lenses if possible. Continue rinsing.
